Kenichi KoyanoNote: This biography was written exclusively for Square Enix Music Online by Chris and is under copyright. Kenichi Koyano is a regular collaborator with Basiscape. He made his debut with arrangements for the album releases Landstalker ~The Emperor's Treasure~, Lunar Eternal Blue Prelude, and Langrisser II Memorial Drama CD & Fanbook on behalf of Sega. He also composed Shin Nihon Pro Wrestling '94: Battlefield in Tokyo Dome, Card Angels, and Super Bomberman: Panic Bomber W. He subsequently joined Eighting / Raizing for a period working on titles such as Bloody Roar, Bloody Roar 2, Armed Police Batrider, and Great Mahou Daisakusen with Hitoshi Sakimoto, Manabu Namiki, Masaharu Iwata, and Atsuhiro Motoyama. Other works include the Roommate series, Virtual Gallop Kishudou, Perfect Golf, My Best Friends: St. Andrew Jogakuen Hen, and Happy Lesson. Since Basiscape's foundation, he has worked closely with them on projects such as the Battle B-Daman series, Digi Communication 2 in 1 Datou! Black Gemagema Dan, and the Stella Deus BGM ReArrange. He reflected his versatility by contributing mature orchestral compositions with Masaharu Iwata on Square Enix's Fantasy Earth: Zero and rock action themes for Wizardry Gaiden: Five Ordeals.
