BiographyI first came to Square Enix Music Online's predecessor upon trying to find MP3s for my new favorite Squaresoft game, Chrono Cross. Of course, the site only hosted MIDI files, which I saw as a valid alternative. It wasn't until a few months later where I discovered the amazing community tucked quietly away in the forums. My first video game I played was back at around 1997 with Sonic The Hedgehog 2, sorely missing out on the first game, but it was an experience to remember when I first killed Robotnik for the first time. Everything about the game captured my attention: the gameplay, the graphics, and, yes, the sound effects and music. Masato Nakamura's addictive tunes for the game were stuck in my head permanently, starting my love for video game music as it is today. Sadly I don't play many video games these days, but I can still live the adventure through the music. My tastes in VGM have changed quite dramatically since I purchased my first score in late 2004. Im very fond of orchestral and Celtic styles but thanks to people such as Z-Freak and Chris, I now have grown to love all forms of rock, electronica, and various other styles. It's also because of these two people that I have explored more composers outside the most obvious choices. I enjoy discovering new works from my favorite composers and love to read/create track listings and keep people informed about current composer works. I like to think myself as an average school student. This involves passing certain subjects as English and History but failing others such as Science and Maths. At this time, I'm doing my final year before school starts to become serious and important exams kick in, so it is one of my main goals to make this year count as a good one. As for when I'm not doing work, I like to exercise and keep healthy. This involves doing long distance running and the occasional weight training. Other than this, I like to regularly catch up with friends outside school, although I dont think I do this as much as I really should. But I think it's safe to say that Im always busy!
